My Story of Multi-ethnic Diasporas Outreach

I came to the U.S. from Taiwan having never heard the Gospel.  I met Christ two years later, was called to full time service, and ever since have been serving Him.  Since 2009, God led me to get involved in numerous multi-ethnic diasporas outreach activities in the heart of the Silicon Valley in California that continue even now.

Since multi-ethnic diasporas outreach is a new field, it has been a long journey learning from trial and error as a pioneer missionary.  I plan to publish my outreach storybook, “Multi-ethnic Outreach in the Silicon Valley: A Chinese Diaspora Reaches Out to Multi-ethnic Diasporas.” There is a lot for me yet to learn, and I am still making mistakes, despite having two intercultural seminary trainings, because culture-crossing is never easy.  However, these challenges have not stopped me, nor should they stop readers like you, who are considering reaching out to the multi-ethnic diasporas living in your community.

From time to time, I will post part of my outreach story on this site and interwoven it with my community surveys and several selective research papers written for seminary during this outreach journey. In hope to give you a glimpse of how you can be equipped and get involved in the glocal missions for His Kingdom.
