Edited by Bruce Riley Ashford, this publication is to understand the church’s mission to the nations from a biblical and theological framework in four parts. The first part is God’s mission which is to redeem the fallen people for his glory and his Kingdom. The Church’s mission is the second part which begins with humanity is the agent of the gospel, church is to proclaim the gospel for the Kingdom, and there are four issues to mission. The third part is the Church’s mission to the nations which begins with mission and the nations in the Old Testaments and New Testaments, and some major subjects for church to be missional that will cross linguistic and cultural barriers to reach the nations in the United States. A challenge of a theological-driven missiology and a challenge for our churches conclude the book as the last part.
