The Tokyo 2010 Global Mission Consultation & Celebration–From Edinburgh to Tokyo, was held in Tokyo, Japan to celebrate the past and embrace the future. The Consultation was hosted by the Japanese Church and sponsored jointly by Asia Mission Association, Cross Global Link, Global Network of Mission Structures, and Third World Mission Association. A total of 968 Delegates representing 73 countries attended, and were joined by another 927 Observers from Japan. At the Consultation, 30 representatives of Global, Regional, and National mission structures signed the Tokyo Declaration pledging their organizations to cooperation with one another and all others of like faith, with the singular goal of “making disciples of every people in our generation.”
