Enoch Wan. The purpose of this chapter is to give an overview of diaspora missiology for the sake of applying it to “international student ministry” (ISM) which is a reference to Christian ministry among internationals (foreign passport holders with a student or work visa) within an academic context. The theoretical framework as explained in this chapter is foundational to the whole book. This chapter begins with a review of the popular view of Christian “mission” and a proposed relational alternative. An overview of the diaspora missiology paradigm is presented for its application relationally to ISM among foreign students and researchers. (Please click on the photo to read the chapter.)
